One of our biggest cash outlay in remodeling is upgrading your bathroom.
To do a complete upgrade it can cost upwards of $25,000. or more. You can put in some sweat equity and planning, and you can save a bundle of cash. Use some of our ads on this page to help you with your project.
1. Find a contractor you can work with. If you do not have one you can go to Angie's List (at the left side of the page) and find a qualified screened contractor who will guide you.
2. Buy good quality products. Most hardware stores carry a cheaper line with the same good product name. Cheap products will lose there color and luster fast.
3. Build like you would like to sell it. Have a realtor come in and evaluate your house -- before and after you upgrade.
4. Most companies will give you "how to do something" advice on your project.
5. Have a plan and try to stick to it.
